Hi Everyone:
Are you curious about my writing progress?
In case you are and to help me keep motivated I will post once a week in November on my writing progress and after this once a month.
The Rise of Lord Sinon, sequel to The Treasures of Carmelidrium, 14,117 words.
Mirabella, working title, short story, approximate goal, 10,000 words, completed 5,441 words.
I plan to finish Mirabella this weekend and send it to my editor. I hope I don't get interrupted since that is the biggest battle I currently have in my writing.
Once Mirabella is sent, I'll spend one to two weeks on Sinon only before starting another short story.
I'm setting aside the children's books until I find an illustrator.
Nancy

That's a lot of books you are juggling. Keep writing!
ReplyDeleteLots of stories keep the creative juice flowing :) Good luck!!
ReplyDeleteNancy, you've obviously got your mojo back. One of the daughters of a lady in our writers group is a great illustrator. Let me know if you're interested. I saw her work last week. She is just completing high school.
ReplyDeleteHi Alex
ReplyDeleteCharacters just keep introducing themselves to me.
Hi Nicole
Nice to see you. Oh yes, you're right. We do need those juices to flow.
Hi Denise
Yes I am interested. I will send you out an email.
Thanks everyone for stopping by.
Nancy
Terrific, N.R., keep up the great progress! (I wish I were doing so well...)
ReplyDeleteAll the best, Nancy. I hope you get the illustrator soon!
ReplyDeleteSounds like good things are happening for you. YEAH!
ReplyDeleteIf you have time, I've tagged you for a fun little activity. The post will go up tomorrow with details. No pressure if you are too busy
Hi Lexa,
ReplyDeleteI'm doing my best. Over 7,000 words now. It looks like the short story will be closer to 12,000 when done.
Thanks Nas.
Hi Heather
I'll be sure to stop by.
Thanks everyone for leaving a comment.
Nancy
Sounds like your making great progress. I just bestowed upon you and a few others the Super Sweet Blogging Award.
ReplyDeleteI know this is a busy month, but if you get a moment stop by and pick it and then post your answer to this:
If you had a sweet nickname, what would it be?
Your fans/friends would appreciate it!
Keep writing!
Thanks Yolanda
ReplyDeleteI missed this comment for some reason so I'll head over there now.

Hi again Nancy. Sorry to be cryptic in my earlier comment! Pat Stoltey posts on Tuesdays at Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers Chiseled in Rock blog, and she included a link to your blog today :-)
