It’s hump day. Those who follow me will get this right away, but just in case you’re new, hump day improvisation is fun. I ask you to participate and do some improvised writing. In keeping with the theme this week of the Colorado Gold Conference, hosted by Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers, I will post three words. Your challenge is to create a sentence using those words or a similar word. You may write in any genre. At the end of the day I will post my three sentences.
If you’re not a writer, you can tackle this too. We’re just having fun.
Rules: If you use the same word you can skip rule one which is just there to help us understand your sentence. Instead just number your sentence and we will know which word you picked.
Rules continued: Keep it clean. This is not an x-rated blog and very young eyes may stumble upon this blog and be influenced by what you or I write.
Okay folks, here goes. Pick one word or all three.
1. Gold or nuggets.
2. Conference.
3. Friendship or camaraderie.
Have fun!

I don't know if I got this right but here goes:
Bogey picked up the nugget and examined it. "I think it's real? Why do we have real gold here?"
They gathered round in the mountains of the Sierra Madres and decided to discuss it. "Real life versus the film. Do you think it'll be different?"
"Of course the ending will be different," Bogey shouted, throwing the nugget to his wife Betty, "we're all friends here!"
Clarissa, you did great. Love it.

Golden ties of friendship are created and maintained at each RWA conference that I attend.
A news conference will be held to discuss the gold nuggets found while searching for friendship.
I hope this is right?! :)

Cool exercise! We did something similar at my crit group meeting and it went over well. :)
These are fun!
Okay, here I go with #1:
So the other day, I went through the McDonalds drive-through and ordered some nuggets, and found in my bag gold!
That sounds like fun Angie.
Amanda, I love it.

I stumbled on your 3 sentences first and was sitting here trying to figure out what the deal was.
Now I get it! It's a little after 5 here and the creative part of my brain is still sleeping. I'll have to swing by another time.
Sorry Vicki, I should have referred to the post below.
