FlatIron Crossing holiday flash mob & Hump Day Improvisation

FlatIron Crossing is a mall between Denver and Boulder Colorado. Closer to Boulder.

Hump Day Improvisation:
I hope the Flash Mob inspired you. Your hump day assignment is to have your character do something unexpected, either alone or with a group. Write several sentences describing this. I will post my unexpected character sentences after 6 p.m. pacific time.

Enjoy

Oh, I love flash mobs! Sort of reminds me of sit-ins on steroids :D

Sorry my cold won't allow me to think of unexpected. :(

I love these spontaneous mall performances, they're so uplifting :)

Merry Christmas to you, Nancy, with all best wishes for the New Year!

Phineas glared from his 6'6" height at the boy who seemed all bones and eyes. "Go to the rear of the temple, if you want to beg," he rumbled. "I don't want to beg," the boy whispered; "I'm just resting." Phineas grunted: "Don't rest too long." Five minutes later, he was back with a box wrapped in a shirt big enough to be cut into a tunic and leggings for someone the boy's size. "My dinner didn't please me," he said sourly. "Make yourself useful--take this trash away and dispose of it for me."

Ugh, a holiday cold Jules. Get well.

I just discovered them Joanne. I have to wonder, if we could teach kids to do this instead of some violent thing the world would be better for it.

Great sentences Marian. I use the line, "Make yourself useful," a lot. LOL

Thank you all for dropping by and leaving a comment.

Marie stood under the threshold of her bedroom, glaring at her husband. Beads of sweat danced down Keith's face as he wriggled his collar, apparently trying to undo his tie.

"Marie, I'm so sorry."

"Sorry, Keith? You cheated on me." Marie swallowed down the temptation to throw something at him.

"I didn't know who she was. I just went to the bar to have a good time with Bill and Clint."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah." Marie threw her hand dismissively at Keith.

Keith cleared his throat, his body still trembling. "She wouldn't leave me alone, Marie. She kept buying me drink after drink. You know how I can get when I'm out having a good time."

"I know," Marie replied with a deadly chill in her voice. "That's why I paid her to sleep with you."

Oh ho, Jeffrey, that was a real twist. I don't think she can really be mad at her husband. Thought he should be livid with her. Nice.

LOL, that's a fun way to celebrate Xmas. I'd rather sing karaoke than doing that though. Merry Christmas, Nancy. I beam you some of our hot air from Sydney and hope you have a fanciful 2011!

She stared at him, her jaw dropping open. Then she withdrew and shook her head slightly, wondering what on Earth he was thinking.

Then he erupted in sudden laughter, a sound she hadn't heard in a long time.

Merry Christmas!

This is exactly why I stay away from the malls during the holidays LOL! Now Oktoberfest flash mobs ... count me in!

Thanks for the hot air Enid. It's always appreciated except in July. LOL I guess I need to send it back to you then.

Love the sentences Golden. I need to go work on mine now.

I stay clear of malls in general year around Stephen.

Thank everyone for dropping by and leaving a comment.
