Normally this is my Hump Day Improvisation and I intend to give you a challenge at the bottom of this post. But first I want to participate in Talli’s Take On Amazon Day.
Help Talli Roland's debut novel THE HATING GAME hit the Kindle bestseller list at Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk by spreading the word today. Even a few sales in a short period of time on Amazon help’s to push the book up the rankings, making it more visible to other readers.

About THE HATING GAME:
When man-eater Mattie Johns agrees to star on a dating game show to save her ailing recruitment business, she's confident she'll sail through to the end without letting down the perma-guard she's perfected from years of her love 'em and leave 'em dating strategy. After all, what can go wrong with dating a few losers and hanging out long enough to pick up a juicy £2000,000 prize? Plenty, Mattie discovers, when it's revealed that the contestants are four of her very unhappy exes. Can Mattie confront her past to get the prize money she so desperately needs, or will her exes finally wreak their long-awaited revenge? And what about the ambitious TV producer whose career depends on stopping her from making it to the end?
Sounds like a great read Talli.
Hump Day Challenge: Write a few sentences from a character’s POV who wants to help a stranger. Have fun. As always, my sentences will post at 6 p.m. pacific time.

Morning Nancy
As we have six inches of snow outside and the trains have ground to a halt (yes, really - this is England after all!) So my improvisation is snow themed!
Nick peered through his windscreen as fat flakes of snow whirled in his headlights, obliterating the road ahead. Somewhere in this white out Dad was shivering in a broken down car and it had already taken Nick hours to get this far. At last a white hump appeared at the side of the road and Nick pulled up behind it.
"Cavalry's arrived," he called cheerfully as he slithered to the driver's window.
A young woman beamed at him. "Oh thank you so much. My phone's died, I didn't know what to do!"
Not Dad then. Sorry Dad.
Nick smiled. "I'm glad to help."
Sorry it's a bit more than a few sentences, but brevity was never my strong point!
Congrats to Talli on her debut! :)
Cassie gazed out the window, thinking. She was jerked out of the reverie by a nearby crash and she whirled around to see someone frantically trying to gather up a large number of books all over the floor.
"Here," she said, and picked up a few that had scattered farther away.
I have dropped books in the past . . . and actually had helpful strangers pick them up. :)
eesh sorry I was not prepared for this, I suck at improv, I am so sorry *hides face in shame*
This is so awesome. Talli's great and it's cool to see her getting so much love!
Six inches Dominic. On occasion Denver gets snowed in but not recently. Most of the snow has stayed in the mountains making the ski industry happy. Great paragraph.
I love it Golden. Books are always on our minds.
No problem Joanna. There is no right or wrong. Glad you stopped in.
Talli is great Matthew.
