Hump Day Improvisation: My Sentences

As promised this morning, here are my sentences for today’s challenge, helping a stranger.

She paused. Tears stained his face. No one in the crowded mall noticed. She approached. “May I help you?”

It took a moment for him to respond. “My cell phone died.”

“No problem, use mine.” She handed over her Blackberry. He accepted it and pressed the needed buttons.

A moment later he handed the phone back. “Thanks, my wife is waiting at Sears.”

What a wimp, right? LOL
