The Treasures of Carmelidrium Blog Book Tour

Day 13. We're setting sail and crossing the pond to visit Dominic de Mattos at Writes of Passage to talk about Playing the “What If” Game. I hope to see you all over there.

The complete blog book tour is below. I've been updating the URL's everyday, so if you missed something just click the link and it will take you to my post.

Don't forget to enter the drawing for the contest as often as you like. I check all the previous post and the current one including here. You need to leave a comment with your email.

I'll be by all day to visit.
Nancy

I just hopped over from Dom's blog to say what a great post interview with a really thought provoking intro.I like the way you plan your characters and stories. Every time I read such accounts it is like another piece to the writing puzzle has been slotted into place :O) madeleine.maddocks@gmail.com

Hi Nancy -- thanks for your comment on my blog. I appreciate it.
I'm one of those people who was born reading and writing but, as I said, there is a difference between skill and talent. For many years, I wrote very little because I had nothing to say. However, there were some years when I wrote for a living. I just wasn't good at fiction. My blog was started to showpiece my work-in-progress by the same name: An Unfittie's Guide to Adventurous Travel. I'm getting on in age, with more than the usual aches and pains, but my husband is healthy and energetic. He discovered adventure travel a few years ago, but insists on taking me with him. The results have been both fun and funny. Now, at long last, I have something to say! When I ran smack-dab into writer's block, I started posting to memes, and I think I can feel the creative instinct stirring faintly in the back of my brain.
Thanks for your contribution to that stirring.

You're welcome Kay. I hope I can be of further assistance as well. There is no age barrier to being a writer.
