Story Time

Today is the start of a new theme: Story Time!

What is story time, you ask?

Thursday - Saturday, story time is a continuing tale that all of you get to contribute to. I will start a simple thread. Everyone who leaves a comment will add one or two sentences to the previous comment to continue the story. The first person gets to set it up using my thread for inspiration.

Story time can encompass any genre, any characters for good or for bad. Story time can be serious or humorous. The only thing I will ask of you is that you keep Story Time PG. I have grandchildren and children and so do many of you.

Come back often to add to the story and above all, have fun.

Here's the start.

Story Time: Once upon a time in a land not far away....

(brilliant idea Nancy - loved doing this as part of an ice breaker session at college except we could only say three words as we went round the group)

Howard cringed. His father always took a joke too far and it embarrassed him. He looked up the nurse expecting to see a weary, exasperated look but saw sparkles of fun in her eyes....

I removed the last one as it crossed the previous post!

Howard. He turned toward the window, feeling the hair follicles pop out along his back, growing long and thick. How could this be? A vampire, a wolf and the tin man, together at the Yellow Brick Hospital.
