Maps

This is my hand drawn map of Gil-Lael, my alternate world in my epic fantasy. Oh I think I can do much better. Anyone know of an online FREE map creator that I can download. Thanks. Nancy

Love it! I've got the vague recollection of a map creator in the back of my mind, I'll have to dig it out for you :)

What a great idea! I think epic fantasies definitely need maps (especially when characters are having epic journeys). ;)

Hi Carolyn
Yes, most fantasy's have maps but not all. They also help the writer when it comes to direction. Thanks for coming by.

I've heard of them, but would have to do a Google search...

Hi Alex
I'll probably have to do that too. I was hoping someone had used one that they liked.

Interesting map! It looks pretty good to me--I've seen maps from published books that were less clear than this.

Hi Golden
Thanks, I guess I'm a perfectionist.

It'd be great to find a map creator that could do this. I'm sure it's out there - probably on an iPhone too!

Oh, nice! I love maps. I definitely need them for fantasies--I'm reading the Song of Fire and Ice series and look at that one all the time. Sorry I don't know anything about the software... I've written one book I made afew maps for, but not high enough quality to publish, and MOSTLY I use Google maps for real stuff. (I do that a lot)

I think the map looks pretty darn good. My maps are a mess, cause I'm always revising, adding, and removing places. :)

Hi Denise
Oh you made me smile with the iPhone thing.

Hi Hart
It's been awhile hasn't it? I guess I'll have to do a search.

Hi Holly
Golly thanks. I guess I'll leave well enough alone then, at least for now.

Thanks everyone for coming by.
