Hi everyone.
If you had asked me last Sunday how my life was going you would have heard only negative things. My husband quit his job in December for a chance to be hired by a company that hauls mail. He worked for them through a temporary service at $25.00 an hour. His first paycheck was amazing. Then we both caught a terrible cold that lasted for two weeks. Neither of us could do much but sleep. So he didn't get hired. After his cold ended, the temporary company sent him on a job that had him delivering food. He didn't wear his back brace or his knee braces and injured himself. Another two weeks off work with no income at all. His retirement pays the rent but not much else. We also learned that he can add me to his retirement Insurance. This change will affect us economically and the retirement will no longer cover rent. However, at present I have no Insurance and can't buy my medicines. So I was really feeling negative and it looked like we would start February on the street, homeless. But now, he has a possible job lined up that will pay well and allow him to come home every night. I may have a job too. That would be something. So, I am hopeful. Keep your fingers crossed for us and if you pray, ask the Lord to bless us with a good income.
Cheers,
Nancy
