Where in the world is N. R. Williams?

I'd love to answer that question by posting fabulous pictures of exotic or historical locations, however the truth is, I've been at home.

My computer wouldn't let me post, comment or even access my email. It needed repair. I was able to get into facebook, go figure, right? So the repairs are done and I will do my best to have a post at least once a week because my life is complicated at the moment.

Some of you know my daughter was involved in domestic violence last December. I spend everyday taking her to doctor appointments and meetings. By the time I get home I'm exhausted. All my creative juices are taking a nap. I can see the end now, she and her son have received some amazing help and their future is full of hope.

My husbands employment woes seemed never ending. He got a good local job in March and lost it on April 1. We both think the company was struggling and the jobs they thought they were going to get didn't pan out.

He found a new job the third week in April and went to a training class in Washington State. I was rear ended and our van, the only car in the family, was totaled.  The Insurance Company paid it off and rented us a car but the credit union dragged on because we couldn't prove my husbands employment. At last we have been approved but we have to come up with 15% out of our pocket. Pretty hard to do when the bread winner has been unemployed for so long and has never received the unemployment checks promised by the State of Nebraska where his former employer had their office.

I know I should be able to put all this stress on the back burner, lock myself in the house and write. But frankly, it drains me.

So that is where I have been. Not very exciting. My characters keep asking me when I'm coming to their rescue. Soon my dearies, soon.

I hope your life is stable and happy.
Nancy

Oh Nancy, you know your blogger friends have been worried about you, and thank you for the fb message. I then ran straight to your blog thinking you were on air again, but no. Your woes continue. I really hope you can get up again as yes, your stories await. And our first RFW prompt linky looks sad without you for LETTERS. Hopefully soon??

Shoot, if I were you I'd have locked myself in the closet and refused to come out by till Christmas. I think you're doing great considering all the troubles swirling around. I'm so glad you weren't injured in the accident. My thoughts are with you. I hope things get better soon. :-)

I'm just happy to see a post!! I've missed you on the blogging world. But you know, creativity suffers when your tired and stressed. Get that all sorted, then you'll be ready to write again. You'll make it, you have friends here to support you! <3

Glad your daughter and grandchild are on the road to recovery, so now it's your turn for things to look up. I'm sure they will. Sending good wishes to you and your family.

Hi, Nancy,
By the sound of things, you've had a very challenging time. Happy to know you're keeping your head above water.

Sorry to hear all that Nancy!

I firmly believe our lives move in waves or rhythms, that there are lows and highs, but just like waves, if you are at the bottom of one and ride it out, you know you'll be lifted back up into the air again. Sounds like you're owed some pretty awesome stuff.

Take care x

Sometimes life happens and you just can't write! Hang in there. I'm sending up a prayer for you right now.

I don't blog anymore. Just can't. My disabled daughter needs me more now emotionally. But I do occasionally drop by old friends' blogs. I'm glad I stopped by your place today if nothing more than to leave an encouraging word. I've been there. Hang in there. God bless you and your family!

That sounds like a lot of stress and I don't think I'd be able to write much either! I hope things get better for you soon.
