Greetings from beyond the blog

How's that for a title. I thought I'd better check in with everyone.

Update:
I thought I was going to have more time over the summer but actually I have less. My oldest is working and has been promoted so she is in training for her new job. This is good in the long run because she will eventually be able to move closer to her job and she will make enough money to eventually buy a car. For the present however, I am babysitting my grandson and there is no school.

I am writing though....yeah. I have carved out a two hour window at night after my husband leaves for work and my daughter and grandson have gone home. However, two hours does not allow time for blogging. So here is my plan.

Plan:
I will participate in Romantic Friday Writers since this has really been good for my creative mind. I will follow all of those who post and if you all come by I will try to pay you a visit too. That said, Romantic Friday Writers is open to all, just click on their button at the top of my blog and you can view the challenges.

Happy writing.
Nancy

Congrats to your daughter for being in training and closer to a good job in the future and for having such a great mom who looks after her son while she's busy.
You ROCK!! :-)

Hi Nancy .. I'm so pleased your daughter has found some good work - long may it last and long may she move upwards in life.

Looking after your grandson will be so rewarding, despite the hardwork!

It's lovely to have the catch up and your news ... just enjoy what you can and see us as and when .. while Romantic Friday makes total sense .. good luck - Hilary

Great to have you back Nancy. Be jealous of that 2 hour window and write your little heart out. I am of course so happy that you've made RFW a priority as we love your stories. Now you can write 1000 words you can write a 'proper' story.

Hope you have that 'Honeymoon' story underway.

Hey Nancy! Good to hear from you. Posting one day a week sounds do-able.

Thanks Lexa,
I do love my grandson and of course my granddaughter who I don't get to see as often.

Hi Hilary
He is an easy child, that's good. His favorite thing to do is cook with me and I try to plan small projects that he can achieve.

Hi Denise
As soon as I read the RFW Challenge a character introduced himself to me. I'm looking forward to writing his story. Should be fun.

Hi Alex
Thanks, but it will be more like once a month.

I appreciate you all so much.
Nancy
