Blog Schedule, Something Old, Something New, Something Re-Named.

Greetings.

I have decided to participate in two blog hops per month. Since I only have an hour or two, five days a week to write, that is about all I can handle.

The something old is Alex J. Cavanuagh's Insecure Writers Support Group which allows anyone to post encouraging words or current struggles to why me post. It is held on the first Wednesday of the month. So that post will show up tomorrow.

The something new is Denise Covey's, Write...Edit...Publish blog hop, which replaces the something old, Romantic Friday Writers, and is a post that serves the purpose of making me and anyone else who participates in to better writers. Denise issues a challenge and we are to write a flash fiction story up to 1,000 words. we generally post the third week of the month.

Both these blog hops are worthy.

So baring some unforeseen calamity, like the power going out as it did earlier today, I will have a post for you all tomorrow and will visit at least ten of you.

Schedule 2012

I'm so glad to be back! Now to get my fingers moving over the keyboard.

My new schedule is below. To give you all time to get caught up with me I will start this schedule on Friday, Aug. 10, 2012.

Monday: Writing Craft.

I will re post my first few post on The Seven Deadly Sins and your Hero. That way we can all have a refresher and those who missed it can get caught up.

Wednesday:

The 1st Wednesday is dedicated to: The Insecure Writers blogfest. An ongoing post hosted by Alex J. Cavanaugh. Posting is optional to those who want to participate and can include encouragement or what you're having trouble with.

The 2nd and 4th Wednesday will be assigned to critique. Start thinking about what you need help with. I will offer up my 20 plus years of critique experience to help you. No bashing or trashing. This will be advice on honing your writing skills. (I won't include any grammar advice.)

Important: Be sure to send your submission as an RTF file to avoid virus' and include in the box that it is a critique submission. Assume that this submission will be published on my blog if accepted. All genre's welcome. Here's my email: gillael@aol.com

The 3rd Wednesday of the month will be a review of a current book that I am reading. If you would like me to read your book you may contact me at my email address above and let me know what the email is in regard to. Paper copies only until I get an e-reader. I only have so much memory on my computer.

Friday: Every other Friday is for Romantic Friday Writers.

The remaining Friday's will be for news, announcements and random thoughts.

Occasionally I may interrupt this schedule to participate in a blogfest or blog book tour. If you are planning a blog book tour let me know at the above email address. Be sure to include in the box that this is for a blog book tour.
