Hump Day Improvisation:

Today we will have some fun with similar words. Rewrite the words in a sentence. Select one or all three to rewrite. You may write in any genre. At the end of the day I will post my sentences. A quick reminder of the rules.

Rules: Number your sentence so we know which word you have selected.

Rules continued: Keep it clean. This is not an x-rated blog and very young eyes may stumble upon this blog and be influenced by what you or I write.

1. Wondrous

2. Fabulous

3. Outstanding

Have fun.

1) Someone told me I wondrous. I gave it back. Who wants to win dross anyway?

3) I was outstanding in the rain but I hated the cold so I went back inside.

"How's it going?"
"Wondrous, you?"
"Fabulous, of course. How's the new boyfriend?"
"Outstanding in the rain."

Clarissa & I used the same line. What does that say about my inability to read & our convergence of thought?

Patti, fun has many names but 'fun' is the shortest. Thanks for stopping by.

I punched Start on the microwave and turned, just as our dog Stan raced through the kitchen. I cartwheeled over the dog, my elbow catching the rim of the wooden salad bowl as I went down.

From the floor, I shook a soggy leaf of romaine out of my hair and growled, "Out, Stan." -- Ding -- I sighed, then bellowed, "Dinner!"

I baked an outstanding cake the other day. Unfortunately the outstandingness was not appreciated by all and it is sitting on the side awaiting hungry mouths... any takers?

Come and bake a fresh one at my house Emma.

In the Realm Wondrous, "fantastic" meant average, "outstanding" meant so-so. My nickname was "Sub-Standard," Stan for short. Imagine how people feel about me.

Hope you like that, Roland

Love it Roland, made me smile.
