H is for Humpback Whales: Awesome Whales Music Video

YouTube link

I love, love, love whales. Do you remember the Star Trek movie where we were threatened by the monolithic black thing and Spock and Kirk had to go back in time to bring back a pair of Humpback whales to save the day. The threat was a stretch, but the whales were great.

Enjoy,
Nancy

P.S. I have a big announcement tomorrow.

What magnificent creatures, they seem so joyous leaping from the sea!

That was my FAVORITE Star Trek movie. "Cap't, there be whales here!"

The humpbacks migrate through the Virgin Islands around February. And do you know, all those years growing up there I never saw one?

I like whales and have been whale watching many times. What’s the announcement? Hum? Alright, I’ll wait until tomorrow.

I so love whales too, and just to make matters clear, I disagree with the norwegians whaling policies. Poor Willy, did you know he died here in Norway?

As soon as I saw the title of your post, I thought of the star trek movie.

Watched the video and loved it. I wish that someday, I can go to Alaska and watch them play.

Aren't they just magnificent?!!!

Thank you, Duncan.

Thank you, Tracy...I love whales too.

I am a tease aren't I Mary.

Right you are, Joanne.

Love Scottie too, Bish. How sad you didn't get to see the whales.

Hello Holly, now I'm jealous, you get to go whale watching.

Oh no, I didn't know that Siv. I'm glad your heart is with the whales.

Me too, Words.

Thank you all for dropping by.

Once I went whale watching and a female and it's young swam right up to the boat and blew fish-smelly air out her air hole, right below me. It was great.

That would be amazing Bob.

Nice post. I loved that movie. Spoke was so calm and reserved it made it more funny. =)

Maybe that's what it will take, people coming back from the future to save endangered species.

Thank you Monti and Gregg. Nice to see you both.

Thanks sweetie, Spock is always reserved...but he was extra funny in that movie.

Could be Stephen...that would also explain the ancient astronaut theories that the History Channel televises with their aliens.

Trying to read in order so I won't spoil it. I once had to take a boat ride to see whales, where all I saw was the side of the boat :)
