Hump Day Improvisation

Hump Day Improvisation is back by popular demand. What is it? Notice the picture below. Create in one or two sentences a character who either loves this castle and the color or hates it and write the sentences in the comments. I will stop by and read them of course, and around 6 pm mountain standard time USA. I will share my sentences in the comments.

No worries, just have fun!

Cheers,
Nancy

I'm all for making the best of what you've got but really, what were they thinking when they gave the house on the corner of my street that castle-ified make-over? It used to be redbrick and sensibly-solid but that is no reason to cliché the integrity out of it.

I don't care who lived there. It is a pepto bismal colored, round room with a point on top?

This place is just so depressing, with its painted blue sky (whoever saw a sky that colour?) and its idiotically pink walls that only Barbie could love. I'm dressed in a shabby replica of Snow White's dress that looks more like Snow Storm, it's so faded. When they said I'd be working at Disneyland I didn't realise they meant D'Ysnayland Scunthorpe!

What a concept Elaine. I think every neighborhood would be up in arms over this castle.

LOL Jules, pepto bismal is so funny.

Good job Morning. I think even Disney might roll over for this castle.

Thank you all for coming by and participating.

Jules voiced my idea before I had time to. We actually have a travel agency in my town that is this color and I've always called it the "Pepto Bismol Agency".

It took my father years to build this castle dollhouse. I didn't have the heart to tell him I no longer played with dolls or liked the color pink.

That's really funny Debbie.

Good sentences Siv.

I appreciate both of you stopping in and having fun with me.

Why did I allow Cinderella to repaint the castle...?

Don't look at me--it was my wife's idea. I cringed at the thought of it, but then I looked at the bright side--this is bound to keep all those chauvinistic boys away from my daughter!

Fun idea, N.R., and thank you for visiting my blog. :)

I may lead an ordinary life, but my home is now my castle, completed in a girl-girl hue that would make even Mr. Disney blush with envy!

(How's that?)

Nice and short Alex.

Good twist David. You're welcome too.

Hi Susan, I bet Mr. Disney never dreamed of this castle.

Thank you all for participating.

Now for my sentences.

I spent a fortune with the painters and was specific about my choice of color. Imagine my shock when I discovered they mixed up my order with someone else's?

Margeaux stormed up to the front door of the castle, pounding her fist into the wood. The people who had erected this particular structure had just messed with the wrong homeowner's association president.

Grey steeple piercing the sapphire-blue sky, grey face peering from the window as she filed through the lock at last. Oh to see the sky at last...freedom...
