Character Traits: Survey Says

Good morning, I hope your Monday is filled with bright hope and gentle smiles.

We had a family emergency over the weekend and I spent Saturday evening into the wee hours holding the hand of my daughter in the emergency room. She is fine now, but it was scary and exhausting then. Because of this, yesterday I slept much of the day, so I didn't have time to really craft a decent post.

According to my survey, hero's are the most difficult of all characters to write. This doesn't surprise me, so we will begin with heros. Before I begin however, I want a little more input from all of you so please let me know in the comments what you think.

Do you prefer post on:
1. Female Heros or
2. Male Heros?

Which type of hero would you like covered?
1. Romance
2. Quest
3. Mystery

It will take me a bit to get to all your blogs, sorry about that. My life just won't settle down.

Hey all, Donna Hole is giving me an interview and review of both my books today. Click her name to head over and read.

Hi Betsy, what a surprise to see you. Men make great heros don't they.
Thanks for stopping by.

I'm glad your daughter is okay!

As for heroes, I'm sure I'd have a hard time writing about a male...

Hi Bish
Nice to see you. Does that mean you prefer to write female characters.

Glad your daughter is all right! I did read your guest post, so you did contribute something.
I actually think the villain is more difficult. But I'd take male hero and quest.

Thank you Alex. I will make a note of that.

I'm gonna go for female heroes and quest :)

Glad your daughter is okay! Hate scares like that! I love female heroes and quests. I'm a sucker for those :)

A little hard to decide. I had to read the questions a couple times to get understand.

I don't write female heroes well, or romance. So I guess i like to read posts on male heros with a quest or a mystery.

Thanks for hanging out with me at my blog today. You were a marvelous guest.

"My life just won't settle down."- I hear that!

I'm glad everything is okay.

I like both female and male heroes. Mystery or quest but I don't know which to pick.

Hi Nancy .. sounds scary - but glad all is well now - cept for you and some rest!

Both female and male, though mystery or quest is more my genre - but I used to love romance a few 'centuries' ago .. or did I mean decades?! Cheers Hilary

Okay...Donna, Holy and Hilary, I've got you down for quest and either female or male. This is very helpful, I appreciate it.

Hi Nancy,
Sorry I have not been in touch about the whole crit partner thing. Like your life, mine seems to be in so much turmoil lately with health issues and such. I promise to email you in the days to come whether we decide to do the crit partner thing or not. I certainly hope your daughter is all right. Susan
