Hi Nancy .. how sensible you are - if I had a Kindle or other I'd be buying ..

Interesting post on John Locke ..

Bad Hair day ..

That unexpected trip out of town .. the rush, the tearing of the hair .. the leaving behind 'essential' elements .. that catching up - that's me = bad hair day & I don't have much!!

Cheers Hilary

Hair slicked with sweat after hours of flying, and the removal of his helmet only caused the damp locks to stick out in every direction.
How's that?

The Konrath post is really fascinating. It's always inspiring to see how well self-pubbed authors can do. He makes a lot of sense with his 0.99 theory, which proved out for him. Kudos to Locke for his accomplishments.

Depending on the character, a bad hair day means that person goes back to bed.

LOL! Bad hair day:

Her hair stuck out in all directions of the compass in a very undesignery way and she was late for her appointment!
(That was me this morning) :O)

Loved it, Alex.

I agree, Joanne.

You have a point, L. Diane.

LOL Madeleine, I loved it.

Thanks all for dropping by and leaving a comment.

The drive the top down was exactly what the doctor ordered. It was the strange glances from the check out line that caught her attention and as she lowered her head to retrieve change the reason became apparent; two mating lady bugs fell to the counter.

A bad hair moment :)

The frizz frizzed like anything. The tangles tangled like nothing you'd seen before. The knots were so knotty she was on the verge of hacking it all off, and the only thing that saved her hair was the butterfly pin. Which decided to pop off her head into her lunch.

N. R. Williams said...

LOL, Jules I loved it.

I think I had the butterfly pin once, Golden loved yours too.

Those fairies! This is their fault- creating havoc of my hair- guess I shouldn't have talked about them in the public square.

LOL Summer. Loved it.

Darius squinted at the label on the bottle, only now realizing that someone had misplaced his favorite conditioner with a bottle of Nair. His heart froze. What could he do now? The chemicals soaking deep into his locks would soon deprive him of the city's best hair award for 2010.

LOL, Jeff. You made me smile.
