Hump Day Improvisation: Ghost and Monsters

Tomorrow, Oct 28, I will post a true ghost story in honor of the Boo-fest. See the button on the side bar. You still have time to enter.

On Friday, Oct 29, I will write something about monsters, or I will write from a monster’s POV, I am still undecided, in honor of the Monster Mash. (See button on the side bar for that too). It’s closed to new submitters. That blog fest is all week so you can check out the other participants.

So in conjunction with both fest today’s hump day improvisation is to write one or two sentences from the POV of a ghost or monster or a character’s reaction to either one.

I will post my sentences at the end of the day.

Have fun.

Hector bent down to stroke the fur on his cat's back, only to have the feline hiss and swipe at him with its claw, its limb passing through his hand with no resistance. Hector's divorce from tactility gave the reality of his situation more substance than what he himself now had.

"Eadsy peesy for me to scare the kids- all I do is show up in the room, everything goes cold, and they scare themselves!" Ghost Bruno said

"Oh yeah- well I poof myself into the closet, open the door a crack, they scream for mom, and I poof back into a bat-gone" Dracula said

"Well I don't care what either of you do as long as you stay out of my house!" Said the mom.

It sounds like fun! I'll be back to read them.

"How far does this go?" "That means I need an entire case of the stuff, do you take credit cards?" Said the werewolf to the pet store clerk in regards to flea control. :)

I could have chosen a more interesting place to haunt, bemoaned the ghost in the shed. I've already counted all the plant pots and scared the spiders.

"Yo! That's MY attic!" says Grover the Ghost.
Jasper the Vampire replies, "So what, man?! There's plenty of space! I just need a place to get away from that awful garlic!"

Waiting under the bed, I bid my time sharpening my talons. Ugh, one more story. It’s always just one more story. Didn’t this kid ever get tired!

You are welcome to drop by anytime Laura.

Jules, a werewolf with fleas, so funny.

Jayne, I love you ghost, the spiders are weaving quickly away.

I agree Golden, a ghost holds no power over a vampire.

Holly, a frustrated monster lurking under the bed. That made me smile.

My sentences will automatically appear at 6 PM Pacific time. That is 7PM my time.

Thank you all for participating in my improvisation. I hope this is as much fun for you as it is for me.
