Hump Day Improvisation: My sentences.

Morgan checked her day planner and smiled. Off to work.

At 11:49 a.m. Jillian called, “Hey, Morg babe, I won’t make lunch, bye.” Morgan hung up the phone; she hadn’t brought a lunch and didn’t like going alone.

At 4:03 p.m. she pulled into the car dealership to have the oil changed. “Sorry miss,” the mechanic said. “You’re appointment was for 4:00 p.m., we had to take the next in line. We can’t see you until 5:30 p.m.”

Morgan groaned and sat, grabbing something from the vending machine to ease her ragging belly.

At 6:45 p.m. she arrived at the movie theater. There was no sign of Fred, he was late. She waited. At 7: 28 p.m. with the movie already playing and still no sign of Fred, she got in her car and drove home.

She checked her email and read. Honey, I have to stay late at work. Catch you tomorrow. Fred.
