Blog- fest and being tagged.

Tomorrow is Writing from an animal’s POV blog-fest, hosted by Dayana at Writing from the Wrogan. It’s not too late to sign up.

My Halloween party is coming up. If you want to join the fun, sign up on Mr. Linky. My server is interfering with Mr. Linky and he isn’t dropping down. But if you click on Mr. Linky, he will open a separate page so you can sign up. I’ve moved him to the side bar under the flying witch. This Halloween party blog-fest will be lots of fun. On that weekend, Firday, Oct 22 – Sunday Oct. 24…blog about your costume, your trick and your treat. Then go to all the other blogs who are participating, follow them and leave a comment. It would be great if you helped advertise this as well.

I read a post and got tagged…this should be fun. I am not going to assign this to anyone. Participate if you want to.

The Golden Eagle got me and now you may be next.

Name three colors you love:
Blue, green and purple. I do love most colors, I am an artist, but those three are calming.

Would you ever dye your hair any of those colors?
Absolutely not, but maybe when I’m really old, and gray, my hair will take on a blue hint. Who knows?

If you could choose one skill to be fantastic at, what would it be?
Writing and if I can have two, art.

Do you like to decorate your room with pictures and other decor?
If I had money, my room would be fabulously decorated, by me. I’d get tapestries, leather furniture, one of those great woven rugs on hardwood floors. Beautiful lamps and the list goes on. If it is my office, I’d add an antique desk, cherry bookshelves and an architect table for my art. The living room would have a thin T.V. and I’d have Bose sound and CD players. Alas, I have no money and we have a couple chairs in the living room with a really old T.V. because our old furniture died.

What was the most shocking moment of your life?
One of the saddest days of my life was when we lost our dog recently. He was a Shetland Sheep dog, 13 years old and he’d lay at my feet when I wrote and comforted me on many occasions. He was the family pet and grew old while my children grew up. I can’t think of a shocking day.

Name three songs you love (please include the artist!):
Annie’s song by John Denver.
Pretty much any song that Josh Groban sings.
The one about angels that Sarah McLaughlin sings.

Have you ever, quote "danced the night away"?:
Only in my dreams.

Who's your favorite author?:
J. R. R. Tolkien and C. S. Lewis are tied with a strong third coming in with J. K. Rowling.

Did you like this tag?
Yes, it was fun Golden. Below are the official rules.
Tag any number of people you like (link his/her name to his/her profile/blog):

You’re tagged if you want to be.

My question to all of you wonderful bloggers is; pick one of the questions above that I answered and give us your answer.

PS I came down with a bug last tonight. I'm sorry, but I probably won't make very many blogs today. Happy Blogging.

The question I'll answer is the one about decorating with pictures. I do decorate with paintings. Luckily, my husband's side of the family is chock full of painters. I have a couple of my sister-in-law's paintings in my office, but my favorite decoration in there is the 8 foot by 5 foot bulletin board my husband built for me. It can be used for a lot of things.

3 songs I love:
1. "Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield. I have the title of the song tattooed on my right wrist and the lyric "No One Else" tattooed on the inside of my left ankle.
2. "The World is Not Enough" by Garbage
3. "Bad Romance" by Lady Gaga. It inspired a character in one book and the theme in another.

Good song selection. I will tell you that I have spent many a morning coming off the dance floor. :) Love to dance.

Now I'm off to check out that blog fest :D

Great tag here. I love music, but don't think I could narrow my choice to three songs. What I do know is that any song, performed live, can purely captivate me. Hope you're feeling better soon.

Mayra and Lou, thanks for coming over and following me.

Helen, lucky you to have painters in the family. I'd like that bulletin board too.

Quinn, I'm not familiar with those songs, but I bet their great.

Jules, I liked to see you in action on the dance floor. I tend to laugh when I dance.

Joanne, believe me, those are not the only songs I like. Thank you for you kind words, I hope I'm better too.

Many thanks to everyone who left a comment.
